To the Family of Germaine Pynenbrouck:
I was so sorry to hear of Germaine's passing and I extend to all of you my deepest sympathy. She was such a sweet and joyful person! I did not know of her passing until yesterday and would have visited or sent this sooner. I remember Germaine at my bridal shower and wedding and how nice she was to talk to. My father, Julien Koekuyt, always spoke highly of his Belgian cousins, especially of Germaine, Alice, Julius and Jim. May they all rest in peace!

I would like to wish you a lot of strength in the passing of your mother, grandmother.
I'm glad I got to know her here in Veldegem. She was a pleasant, smiley lady.
I always liked to read her letters that she wrote to my mom, it was always in Dutch, say in old West Flemish that she wrote them.
