Willett: Clara Marie ( nee Emery, Roelans)

 

A resident of Chatham, Clara Willett passed away at the Meadow Park Nursing Home on January 19, 2022 with her family at her side at the age of 90.

 

Born in Chatham, Clara was the daughter of the late Edward and Valcia (Labadie) Emery.

 

Beloved wife of the late Leon Roelans (1984) and Donald Willett (2001).

 

Dear mother to David Roelans (Cathy) of Cambridge, Ann Marie Cartier (Jerome) of Pain Court, John Roelans (Anita) of St. Thomas.

 

Proud memere to Jacob and Connor Cartier.

 

Sister to Rita Brooks (Ed) of Paincourt. Foster sister to Ernest Boulley (Diane) of Grand Pointe. Predeceased by her sisters Irene Regnier (Fred) and Jeannette Graham (Joseph); sister-in-law Margaret Dielman (Samuel), brother-in-law Robert Roelans (Eliza).

 

Aunt Bird will also be dearly missed by many nieces, nephews and cousins.

 

Family and friends will be received at the Funeral Home, 459 St. Clair Street, Chatham on Friday, January 21, 2022 from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Mass of the Resurrection will be Celebrated on Saturday, January 22, 2022 at ImmaculĂ©e Conception Church, 24156 Winter Line Rd, Pain Court at 10:00 a.m. Interment to follow at St. Philippe Cemetery, Grand Pointe. Those planning to attend either the visitation or the Mass are required to register online at https://signup.com/go/dUouLwH or by phoning the Funeral Home. The Bereavement Authority of Ontario have mandated that all attendees wear a mask.
