A resident of Chatham, Helen Kerr passed away at the Meadow Park Nursing Home on January 10, 2022 at the age of 103.
Born in Chatham, Helen Kerr was the daughter of the late Henry and Gladys Ellis.
Beloved wife of the late Jack Kerr (1989).
Dear mother to Bill and Annalee Kerr, Gary and Sandy Kerr, Doug and Sherry Kerr, Cathy Fancy and Gerry Leschyshyn. Proud grandmother to John Kerr (Sadia), Billy Kerr (Angela), Jenny Kerr, Kevin Kerr (Andrea), Jeff Fancy (Tara); great-grandmother to Daniel, Adam and Sara Kerr, Jacob and Lucas Fancy, Liam and Emilia Kerr. Helen will forever be remembered for her dedication and love to her family and friends. She continued to make new friends throughout her long life. Helen had a love for crossword puzzles which she excelled at even in her latter years.
A private family gathering will be held at the Funeral Home, 459 St. Clair St. Chatham followed by interment at Dresden Cemetery. A Celebration of Helen's life will be held at a later date.
Memorial donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or the charity of your choice.
