McKERRALL, James "Jim" Douglas...

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of James Douglas McKerrall in his 73rd year. 

Beloved husband of Beverley May (Larion) of 35 years.

Devoted step father to Michael and Linda Larion, Pamela and Jack Clancy, David and Marianne Larion and Patricia Larion.

Jim also had 6 grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.

He was the son of the late Hugh and Jean McKerrall and brother to the late Patricia Kent.

Jim is survived by his siblings, Marilyn and Hugh Hazen, William and Judy McKerrall, Lynne and Ron Alderson and brother-in-law Doug Kent.

Jim graduated from McMaster University with a Bachelor of Chemistry. He worked for years for Eli Lilly, Dow Elanco and Price Waterhouse Cooper. He adored animals, children and playing golf. He was devoted to his beloved Doodle, Zeus.

Donations in memory of Jim may be made to Chatham Kent Animal Rescue.

Family and friends are invited to share condolences and memories at McKinlay Funeral Home, 459 St. Clair Street, Chatham on Wednesday, August 25 between the hours of 5:00pm and 8:00pm. A funeral service will be held the next day, Thursday August 26 at 10:00am at the funeral home. Those wishing to attend the visitation or funeral service must sign up by going online to the funeral home website or calling the funeral home at 519-351-2040. Please note due to COVID-19 regulations, all those in attendance of a visitation or a funeral must wear a mask. Jim will be interred at Mount Hope Cemetery, Brantford, corner of Charring Cross Street and West Street.
