Mom was a member of St. James Presbyterian Church, and the Independent Order of Foresters. She worked hard all her life, and made family and friends a priority, which included fun times at Legion dances and spending time at the cottage in Rondeau.

“Ellie” worked at K-Mart for many years. Upon retirement she enjoyed spending time with her family,  her summers camping at Wildwood and Rondeau Shores (dancing on the patio), as well as her many winter trips South.

Due to COVID-19 restrictions, a Private Family Service will be held. Interment in Maple Leaf Cemetery, Chatham.

Those wishing to remember “Ellie” with a donation are asked to consider the MS Society of Canada, Chatham-Kent Hospice Foundation or Alzheimer Society. Online condolences may be left at www.mckinlayfuneralhome.com.
