Beecroft: Thomas "Lee" -
A resident of Chatham, Lee Beecroft passed away at the Chatham-Kent Health Alliance, Chatham Campus on Saturday, October 10, 2020 at the age of 83.
Born in Chatham, Lee was the son of the late Thomas and Vera (Reid) Beecroft.
Beloved husband of 36 years to Theresa (Mailloux).
Father to Michelle Van Hyfte (Wayne) of Chatham, Mark Beecroft (Lisa) of Tecumseh and Michael Beecroft of Windsor.
Stepfather to the late Barb Bechard (2014) (late Wayne, 2019), Mark Mailloux (Fatima) of London, Mary Mailloux of Chatham, Beverly Lange (Mark) of Stratford, Darlene Jackson of Chatham and Kelly Siddall (Jeff) of Bothwell.
Brother to Neil Beecroft (Joyce) of Fort Myers, Florida and Patricia Wright (Don) of Thamesville.
Proud Grandpa of many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Also missed by nieces, nephews, friends and extended family.
Lee raised his family on the family farm in Highgate. He started his career in manufacturing at American Can and retired from Navistar after over 25 years of service.
Lee enjoyed hunting for treasures on his father's bicycle and was a collector of all things.
A Private Family Service will be held with an interment to follow at Maple Leaf Cemetery.
Donations made in memory of Lee to the Alzheimer Society would be appreciated.
