Monday, May 18, 2020To Rand, Beth, Lori and Families, Glenn and I pass on our deepest condolences to you and your families. As a cousin in law to Eris, I have many fond memories of her and Bill over the years at the MacIntosh Christmas gatherings with everyone. Between our family, the Armstrongs, your family and your grandparents,John and Marg McIntosh, we would alternate the years for the gathering. So much celebration, laughter and fun was had by all. We were just kids at the time. Yes I remember those delicious scones as well. You couldn’t eat just one. And as the years passed, when my parents weren’t well, I would stop by to visit and chat with your mom with tea and scones. I so enjoyed our time together. Eris was a kind, generous and hospitable lady. Eris opened her home to me when I came to visit my mom when she wasn’t well. I had a lovely cozy place to spend the night as my travel distance was a ways away. It was so greatly appreciated. I know that you and your families too will have very many fond memories of Eris. May God Bless you, comfort, strengthen you and give you peace in the days ahead. Sincerely, Glenn and Gay Tennant(Armstrong)

Sunday, May 17, 2020Our sympathy is extended to Rand, Beth, Lori and families on Eris’ passing. Your mother was such a cheerful and friendly person to be around. Whenever I make scones (yes, I have Eris’ recipe), I always think of how she would keep a package (with currants) set aside for Ron at the church bake sale. While the last few years have been difficult with the memory losses, family’s memories are important of earlier times. I hope you can find peace knowing that Eris is now in the arms of our Lord.

Sunday, May 17, 2020We send our sympathy to your family as you miss your mother, as she joins your father. We knew your mother and father for so many years and have wonderful memories of speaking with them on many occasions. We had early connections with your dad when he became principal at Sprucedale PS and years later at Harwich Raleigh PS, as he met our grandchildren. There now is the MacIntosh Woodlot to be enjoyed by so many. Your parents loved to hear about our family’s activities and we were pleased to hear about theirs. We have lasting memories of both of your wonderful parents. Ruth Gosnell and Lynn Russell Gosnell

Sunday, May 17, 2020We send our sincere condolences to you all for the loss of Eris. We knew her from St. James Church and so enjoyed our visits and chats with her. Her smile was very warm, and she loved to laugh. Eris was famous for her scones; every time there was a breakfast event at church, there was hope that Eris would be bringing scones! We hope your own memories of Eris will bring you comfort and healing in the coming days. Bruce and Sandee Davidson
