Peever, Wilma A resident of Chatham, Wilma Peever passed away peacefully, with her daughters by her side, on Monday, March 9, 2020 at Meadow Park Nursing Home at the age of 88. Born in Coatsworth, Wilma was the daughter of the late William & Florence (nee Moody) Patrick. Devoted mother of Denise Matthews and Melanie Cooper. Predeceased by her daughter, Sharon Peever (1964) and son, Paul Peever (2004). Beloved grandmother of Krista (Joe), Brittany, Tori, Justin (Cindy), Ashley (Paul), Ryan (Anna) and Alicia. Loving great-grandmother of 8. Sister of Evelyn Wilbur of Chatham & Glen Patrick of Vancouver. Predeceased by her 3 brothers & 6 sisters. Wilma retired from Lapointe-Fisher Nursing Home in Wallaceburg after many years as a Nursing Aide. In her earlier years, she was very active with Bethel Pentecostal Church in Wallaceburg with the choir and church organization. Wilma enjoyed spending time with family, her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Family to receive friends on Thursday, March 12, 2020 at McKinlay Funeral Home, 459 St. Clair Street, Chatham from 10:00 am until Service Time at 12:00 pm. Cremation is to follow.
