Wednesday, July 17, 2019My condolences to the Lysak family. I wrote this once before but I guess it didnt post. I will TRULY miss George. He was a true friend and has done so much for myself and my family. He walked 3 months with me before my Gastric Bypass Surgery to help me loose the presurgery weight. Every morning at 5:30 for our 3 km . I will always remember it and our talks as I learnt how amazing and intelligent he was. George hated the spotlight and did not like to be complimented (which was it's own form of fun making him uncomfortable as he would do with myself and others). He had a sarcastic humour but a huge heart. Your presence in my life has had a huge impact and as I said before our family will miss you.

Friday, July 12, 2019Dear Lyzak family, I'm so saddened to hear of the passing of George. I had the pleasure of having coffee with him a few times at the farmers market. I always called him my "Gorgeous Georgess" I will always treasure the wooden cardinal he carved.

Friday, July 12, 2019My sympathies in the passing of Mr. Lyszak. As a child in the neighborhood, I remember his fantastic wood carving skills and the few times he would share his time to "teach" the wood carving of the duck heads. He spend hours sitting in the garage completing wood project after wood project. I was fascinated by his skill set. Little did I know his accomplishments in his years as a pilot, as well. He was always a very kind man and I remember him very well from my childhood on Parkwood. May fond memories get you thru difficult times.

Thursday, July 11, 2019So very sorry to hear of George's passing. Do want to thank you for letting us know. Quite a shock considering we just saw George at your grandson's graduation in Belle River just a couple of weeks ago and he was looking great. Will miss our "over the fence conversations" with our favourite neighbour

Thursday, July 11, 2019Dear Barb and family You are all in my thoughts and prayers during this most difficult of times. Barb, I remember you introducing your husband to me at one of our first Union Christmas parties and I remember thinking at the time, "what a gentleman he is". And from all of your stories about him, that is truly what he was, a gentle man. Please hold on to your many memories and know that he is not far, he will be in your hearts forever. Blessings to you all.
