My sincere condolences to Jim and the family. I was so shocked and sadden with the news. I have know Linda for 50 years, hanging out with them playing cards in their tiny upper apartment on Park Street, and the cruises down the Thames River. Later you could spot Linda and Jim and their four legged companion on the golf course.
I will miss seeing and talking to Linda at Bobs Food Basics. Linda, you are surely missed.

Jim & Family,
I got to know Linda through her employment at Food Basics. Every time I went into the store her and I would engage in friendly banter back and forth. I affectionately gave her the nickname "SPIKE" because of her hairstyle, She had a few nicknames for me too.
I will always remember her for her sense of humour, her wit and most of all her unmistakeable laugh. Which could often be heard throughout the entire store.

I have worked with Linda at Food Basics for over 20 years. She was a fun person to work with and a really hard worker. If Linda was working you knew things would get done and done right. Her sickness and death came as such a shock to all of us and much too fast.
I know we are all going to miss her laugh and brightness at work. Our store has been a very sad place and will be for a long while.
Hope she will be up in heaven playing golf and having a good glass of wine. We will miss you Linda!!
