Obituary of Angela O'Neil

O'Neil, Angela Dolores (nee Mindorff)

Angela passed away peacefully with her family by her side at Riverview Gardens on Wednesday, January 2, 2019 at the age of 93.

Angela was born in Chatham on August 4, 1925 and was the daughter of the late Francis and Marie (nee Erickson) Mindorff.

Beloved wife of the late Maurice Edward O'Neil (1991).

Loving mother of Betty and Steve Toplack of Hamilton, Rose and Ron Scott of Chatham, Pat and Joyce O'Neil of Dresden, Maureen O'Neil of Hamilton, Bernie and Brenda O'Neil of Chatham, Agnes and George Dickenson of Sarnia, Joanne and Mike Buis of Chatham, Pauline and Mike Currie of Chatham, Dan and Simone O’Neil of Belle River, Kathleen and Steve McLean of Wyoming, Tim O'Neil of Belle River, Christine and Ian Dent of Wallaceburg and the late Mary Libbrecht.

Sadly missed by 33 grandchildren and 34 great grandchildren.

Fondly remembered by many nieces and nephews. 

Predeceased by her sisters, Catherine Roesch, Rose Mindorff, Marie Gerber, Claudia Haslam and her brothers, Frank Mindorff, Bob Mindorff and Gerard Mindorff.

The family will receive friends at the McKinlay Funeral Home, 459 St. Clair Street, Chatham, ON, on Friday, January 4, 2019 from 6-9 p.m.

A Celebration of Life will be celebrated at St. Agnes Catholic Church, 52 Croydon St, Chatham, ON, on Saturday, January 5, 2019 at 1 p.m., with Fr. Jim Higgins, Celebrant.

Interment will be in St. Anthony Cemetery at a later date.
