Dear Linda,
Heartfelt condolences to you and your family. I will always remember Norm as a kindhearted, thoughtful, honourable person. I enjoyed working with him at the OPP and thought of him not only as a coworker but also as a friend. He always found time to chat with me and we shared many conversations and laughs, especially at the "old" building.
I feel blessed to have known him. He meant so much to so many. The way he lived his life was an example to aspire to.
May you find peace and comfort knowing he is now with our Heavenly Father.

Dear Linda, and family as well as "Christine" ,
I am so sorry to hear of the sudden death of your husband, Father, Brother and friend to many of us,
Norm was one of a kind. He loved everyone and took pride in being there for others. Although I was unable to be there for the wake and funeral, I did pray for all of you and for Norm. He did for others and set a great example for all of us to follow.
Christine, I remember you well. I am so sorry for your loss.. You are in my prayers.

Linda, Mark, Michael and Martin,
I'm so sorry and heartbroken to hear about Norm. I was very fortunate to have spoken to him a few weeks before he left for his holidays to Las Vegas. He was so excited to go and we spoke about the time Rob and I went for our honeymoon. Norm had called me checking on my well being knowing I had been in the hospital. That is typical of Norm, so caring and considerate. If you were a friend of Norm's, you were a friend for life. I have fond memories of Norm, Linda, Rob and I at our home in Chatham. Norm and Linda would visit with home made cookies, and pies. We'd eat, drink tea, talk and laugh. I will always cherish those memories.....and can still hear Norm's infectious laugh.
I'm praying for you and your family Linda, that God gives you strength in these very difficult times.

Dear Linda and Family; Many years Norm & I along with Jack Gleason would celebrate Good Friday Service at Riverview Gardens. It was a honor to be able to bring "Mary's Way of the Cross." The residents also look forward to it and I sure Norm and I did also. On Friday 16th after the lighting of the candles for the Memorial service at the residents we spoke of how we both really missed it. May God bless all of you. May he rest in peace.
May these words bring you some comfort as Norm was always "A Symbol of Love.

We both worked with him in the 1970's at # 1 District OPP Chatham DHQ and then later when we transferred to PInery Park and Forest detachments. He was such a true professional in every sense of the word and was an absolute pleasure to work with. Norm had such a great sense of humour and always had a wonderful smile. When I was a rookie cop in Ridgetown Norm was the calm reassuring and supportive voice at the other end of the radio and while I know this role took a toll on him he remained the same sincere caring person throughout his career. Saddened by the loss of a dear friend. I had the pleasure to serve as Norm's " Cha Cha" when he was Rector. He showed me a level of Faith and Catholicity unmatched by anyone . Norm was very strong in Our Catholic faith.

It is with great sadness, that we send our sincerest condolence on Norm's passing. We want you to know that you and your family are in our hearts, thoughts and prayers during this difficult time. You and Norm were very special to us and I personally feel a special bond, resulting from our working together, for all those years.
