It is great sadness that we announce the passing of Murray Pepper, a resident of Chatham, on Thursday, February 8, 2018 in his 71st year at the Chatham-Kent Health Alliance. 

Born in Chatham, Murray was the son of the late Arthur & Pauline Pepper (nee Rabideau)

Beloved husband of the late Barbara (nee Stewart).

Dear brother of Cherie McCabe (Alan) of Thunder Bay, Ron Pepper (Roslyn) of London, Don Pepper (Judy) of Chatham & Harry Hoogstraten (Geertje) of the Netherlands. 

Uncle of Amanda McCabe (Michael) and Kelly Pilot (Jamie), Dawnmarie Field (Jason), Jennifer Moore (Scott), Cory Pepper, Chris Pepper, Jaap Hoogstraten (Anka) & Martin Hoogstraten (Anja). 

Missed by many great-nieces & great-nephews.

The family would like to extend a special thank you to the staff at CCAC and all of the compassionate medical personnel that cared for Murray over the years, also to Joyce and his good friends, Dennis & Doug. 

Murray appreciated all of the care and love that Dawnmarie provided for him. 
 
A Celebration in memory of Murray's Life will take place on St. Patrick's Day, Saturday, March 17, 2018  from 1:00 - 3:00 pm at the Royal Canadian Legion, Branch 642, 39 William Street North, Chatham. Private family interment will take place at a later date at Maple Leaf Cemetery, Chatham. 

Donations to the Chatham-Kent Hospice Foundation or the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated by the family.
