SKINNER: A resident of Chatham, Greta Leona Skinner passed away at the Chatham-Kent Health Alliance, Chatham on Monday, January 2, 2006 at the age of 87. Born in Chatham, daughter of the late H.W. (Clem) and Lottie (Boylan) Kerr. Beloved wife of the late Harry E. Skinner (1989). Dear mother of Marlene Lowther and her husband Garth of Chatham, Douglas Skinner and his companion Audrey of Chatham, Geraldine Smith and her husband Kenneth of Lindsay, and Roberta Smith and her husband Ron of Nanaimo, B.C. Grandmother of Michele Jenner (Andy), Michael Lowther (Sue), David Lowther (Kim), Kelli Skinner, Shannon Skinner, Mark Skinner (Paula), Brian Skinner (Tina), Caireen Skinner, Paul Skinner (Lisa), Teegan More-Skinner, Reeshan More-Skinner, Peter Smith (Karen), Roberta Paschkowiak (Ralph), and Rhonda Sytnyk. Great-grandmother of 20 and great-great-grandmother of 3. Sister of Robert and Marg Kerr of Charing Cross and the late Douglas Kerr and his wife Alma of Chatham. Predeceased by a dear friend Lee Judd (Nov. 2005). Also survived by several nieces and nephews. Mrs. Skinner was a member of the Active Lifestyles Centre, Chatham and was also a long-time member of Indian Creek Golf Course. Family will receive friends at the McKinlay Funeral Home, 459 St. Clair Street, Chatham on Wednesday, January 4, 2006 from 10:00-11:30 a.m. Funeral Service to immediately follow at the Funeral Home on Wednesday at 11:30 a.m. with The Rev. James Brown officiating. Interment in Maple Leaf Cemetery, Chatham.
