HAWKE: Cecil Morgan A resident of Blenheim, passed away peacefully after fighting a lengthy, courageous battle with his illness at the Chatham Kent Health Alliance, Chatham, on Wednesday October 18, 2006 at the age of 80 years. Son of the late Dinah and Wesley Morgan Hawke. Beloved husband of Patricia (Maconachie) for 56 years. Loving father of Phyllis and Kingsley Davidson of Merlin and Bruce and Mary Lou Hawke of Kamloops B.C.. Devoted Grandfather of Amy and Ryan Frampton, Tim and Lyndsay Davidson and Sarah Hawke and Great Grandfather of Meghan Frampton and Brett Davidson. Brother of Grace and Frank Weaver of Niagara Falls, Bessie and Clarence Raymond of Orillia and Bill and Lorna Hawke of Orillia. Brother-in-law of Bob and Sylvia Maconachie and George and Roline Maconachie all of Orillia and the late Marjorie and Norris Walker. Also surviving are several nieces and nephews. Cec was a retired OPP officer, an Honourary member of the Merlin Legion and a member of the Church of the Advent (Anglican), Ridgetown. He greatly cherished his family and was an inspiration to all who knew him. The family will receive friends at the Funeral Home, 459 St Clair Street, Chatham on Saturday from noon to 1:30 p.m. Funeral Service to immediately follow at the Funeral Home with Rev. Stephen Demitroff officiating. Interment Pardoville Union Cemetery.
