Obituary of Roseanne Theresa Allison

ALLISON: Roseanne Theresa (nee Bell) -

A lifelong resident of Chatham, Roseanne Allison  passed away suddenly with her family at her side at the Chatham-Kent Health Alliance, Chatham Campus on Thursday, December 21, 2017  at the age of 72. 

Born in Chatham, Roseanne was the daughter of the late Wilfred and  Cecile (Desaulnier) Bell. 

Beloved wife of 53 years to Murray Allison. 

Loving mother of Marybeth Allison (Dave Badder) of Wallaceburg, Judith Toulouse (George) of Chatham, Keith Allison of Chatham and Dawnmarie Wood (Brent) of Chatham. Predeceased by her daughter Judy Allison. 

Proud Grandma of 16 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren. 

Dear sister to Jim Bell (Gloria), Ted Bell (Susan), Donna Caron, Bernadette Bell, Ruthann Allison (Raymond), Fred Bell (Maryanne) and William Bell. 

Predeceased by her sister Lorraine Caron.

Also missed by many nieces, nephews, friends and extended family.  

Roseanne retired from Walmart after 14 years of service, where she worked with her twin sister Ruthann. 

She was a member at Chatham Christian Centre, where she ran weekly bible studies with her friend Gwen Davis. Roseanne enjoyed crocheting, gardening and spending time with her family. She was an active volunteer at NeighbourLink. 

Family will receive friends at the Funeral Home, 459 St. Clair Street, Chatham on Wednesday, December 27, 2017 from 2:00 - 4:00 pm and 7:00 - 9:00pm. A Private Family Service will be held at a later date. 

Donations made in memory of Roseanne to the Heart & Stroke Foundation would be appreciated.
