Dino died peacefully with his family and friends by his side at the CKHA-Chatham Campus on Friday, September 29, 2017 at the age of 58. 

Dino was born in Chatham and was the son of Harriet Amelia of Pain Court and the late Joseph Amelia (2011).

He was a long-time member of the Maple City Country Club and The Kent Club.

Dino was a successful business man for many years and had devoted most of his working life to A and A Metal Cleaning and Stripping. He enjoyed music and playing his guitar. Beloved husband of Christine Amelia of Chatham.

Dear brother of Michael and Betty Amelia of Chatham and Lisa Morris of Pain Court.

Fondly remembered by Amelia, George, Charlotte and Joey. He had many special friends.

Predeceased by brothers-in-law, Dennis Morris and Richard Charlton.

Cremation has taken place.

The family will receive friends at the Funeral Home, 459 St. Clair Street, Chatham, ON, on Wednesday, October 4, 2017 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m.

The Memorial Service will be held at McKinlay Funeral Home, on Thursday, October 5, 2017 at 11 a.m.

Private family interment at a later date.

Donations made in memory of Dino to the Chatham-Kent Hospice Foundation would be appreciated.
