Smith, Robert "Bob"
Bob died peacefully with his family at his side at the CKHA-Chatham Campus on Sunday, July 9, 2017 at the age of 89.
Bob was born in Wheatley and was the son of the late Lyle and Velma (Dawson) Smith.
He was a resident of Chatham (formerly of Coatsworth) and had retired from Chrysler Windsor in 1981 after 31 years of service.
Beloved husband of the late Pearl (Nead) Smith (2003).
Dear father of Carol and Paul Pearson of Tilbury and Deb and Rudy Buchan of Merlin.
Sadly missed by grandchildren, Michelle Buchan and Brandie Buchan, and great-grandchildren Madison and Macie.
Kind brother of Betty and Howard Nead of Merlin.
Cremation has taken place. A private family Memorial will be held at a later date.
Arrangements have been entrusted to the McKinlay Funeral Home, 459 St. Clair Street, Chatham, ON.
