A resident of Chatham, Susan Eves passed away peacefully at the Chatham-Kent Hospice on Tuesday, May 16, 2017 at the age of 68.
Born in Dresden, Susan was the daughter of the late Dorothy (nee Simmons) and Frank Phair.
Beloved wife of 47 years to Dennis Eves.
Loving mother of Andrea Eves of Toronto and Megan Puksa (Andrew) of Thunder Bay.
Proud Nana of Avery Puksa.
Dear sister to Laurie Willick (David) of Chatham.
Dearly missed by her three nephews Joe Glover (Nicole) of Ottawa, Jamie Glover (Tina) of Chatham and Evan Willick (Danie) of Chatham. Great-aunt of Nathan, Taylor, Ayden, Briahnna and Novalee. Also missed by friends and her extended family.
Susan retired from Bell Canada after over 30 years of service.
Family will receive friends at the McKinlay Funeral Home, 459 St. Clair Street, Chatham on Saturday, June 10, 2017 from 1:00 pm until the Memorial Service at 2pm with the Rev. Mark Sceviour and Rev. Dr. Margaret Moriyama officiating. A private family interment will be held at Dresden Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, donations made in memory of Susan to Chatham-Kent Hospice Foundation or Outreach for Hunger would be appreciated.
