Obituary of Mac Lindsay

A resident of Ridgetown and formerly of Kitchener-Waterloo and Calgary, Mac Lindsay died on Sunday, July 2, 2006 at Four Counties Health Services at the age of 70. Born in Summit, New Jersey, son of the late Maxwell and Myrtle Lindsay. Loving soulmate of Lynn (Adair) Lindsay and predeceased by his first wife Carol (Braniff) Lindsay (1993). Devoted Dad of Juli and Greg Edward of Guelph, Heather and Rance Tuff of Calgary, Kelly and Stephen Ross of Amherstburg, Scott Plant of Calgary and Chris Plant of Waterloo. Much loved Poppa of Kyle and Casey Edward, Samantha Tuff and Brianna, Kaitlyn and Meighan Ross. Brother of Bob and Peg Lindsay of Utah. Brother-in-law of Peg and Aldo Zanuttini of Leamington, Bob and Brenda Adair of London and Randy and Laura Adair of Ohio. Mac was the Event Coorindator with the Alzheimer Society of Perth County. He was formerly with the United Way of Kitchener-Waterloo and CHYM/CFCN Radio. He was also the Past National President of the Advertising and Sales Association of Canada. Family will receive friends at the McKinlay Funeral Home, 76 Main Street, East, Ridgetown on Tuesday from 2:00-4:30 and 7:00-9:00 p.m. Funeral Service will be held at 1:30 p.m. on Wednesday, July 5, 2006 from Erie Street United Church will Rev. William Vanderveeken officiating. Cremation to follow. Donations, made by cheque, to Erie Street United Church, Ridgetown appreciated.
